A latest poll conducted by the Star has shown Jubilee’s President Uhuru Kenyatta is ahead of the National Super Alliance (Nasa) Presidential candidate Raila Odinga by one per cent.
According to the survey, Uhuru is leading with 47 per cent while Raila follows him closely with a command of 46 per cent.
Seven per cent of those polled across all 47 counties were undecided for whom to vote for.
The Star poll was released on Tuesday, hours after two leading research companies, IPSOS and Infotrak had also released findings showing divided opinions in the state House race.
Infotrak indicated Raila would win the race by garnering 49 per cent of votes cast against Uhuru’s 48 per cent while IPSOS showed Uhuru is leading with 47 per cent against Raila’s 44 percent.
The star research was conducted between July 25 and 31. It involved 4,508 participants.
Data was collected through computer-aided telephone interviews.
The margin of error was +/-1.28 per cent while the confidence level was 95 per centre.
