A resident of Mamboleo in Kisumu has joined hunger strike over tribulations facing lawyer Miguna Miguna.
Paul Mark, now joins activist Boniface Ogutu, who has been pitching tent at Kondele grounds.
According to him, he took the last meal on Monday morning before joining hunger strike.
"We believe hunger strike is the way to go and we will be having vigil nights until the law is respected," he said.
He added: " What happened to Miguna can happen to anyone. We must fight before it gets out of control."
Conspicuously, lawyer Miguna had cautioned against hunger strike, insisting that he was ready to fight his woes on his own.
Although he was unceremoneously evicted from the country, the government has denied role in his deportation.
