Dialogue calls between NASA leader Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta have intensified.
Nairobi Women Representative Esther Passaris is the latest leader to call for dialogue between the two.
According to Passaris, Raila should not be ignored but instead be embraced and respected as an eleder.
“We all recognise that Raila is a great leader in this country as his contribution in politics. He should not be ignored and it’s important that the government embrace him and whether they like it or not, they cannot change the fact that Raila is the elder of the lot,” she said.
Passaris confirmed that Raila planned swearing-in are still intact.
Her calls come at a time when former Gem MP Jakoyo Midiwo said that he is opposed to swearing-in calls.
According to Midiwo, there should be dialogue between the two leaders following disputed 2017 elections.
