The Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission is probing the World u-18 championships hosted in Nairobi in July.

This is to seek out crucial information on the procurement process of what was used for the games.

Most sought out is the information relating to the tender for the supply, installation, and commissioning of a giant outdoor LED screen at the  Safaricom Kasarani sports complex, the venue of the games.

Also being probed are allegations of a flawed procurement process in the refurbishment of the sub-base main stadium, warm up the stadium, and the Kenyatta University stadium civil works.

EACC is also probing the supply and installation of ICT.

The EACC has already dispatched a letter to Sports Kenya asking it to provide original documents for the transactions relating to the World U-18 Championships.

Halakhe Waqo, the EACC CEO, confirmed that the anti-graft body had written to Sports Kenya.
