Police are investigating a fire incident where one dormitory was torched at Eronge DEB Secondary School in Nyamira County on Sunday evening.

According to school's administration, the fire started at 7pm as students attended evening preps.

"There were no causalities as all students were in class for their evening studies," said one of the teachers.

The cause of the fire is still unknown.
