Rongai boys secondary, a school within Nakuru county, was on Tuesday torched down.

The incident was reported at around 8.30 pm when students were in their evening studies.

The fire razed down a dormitory and consumed student properties. The fire brigade came late when all had been destroyed.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.

The razing down of high school dormitories has increased this term. This is due to an alleged bad blood between teachers and students.

It started in term one but has escalated this term.
