The fire started around 9pm when students were in their evening studies.

The fire brigade from the county came late when the dormitories and a classroom had been turned into ashes.

This comes a day after Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiangi was grilled by the senate committee of education over school burnings where he blamed the teachers for the torching.

The committee has been formed to investigate the cause of fires in schools and recommend the way forward.

Up to yesterday over 68 schools had been torched but three more were burnt on Tuesday night leading to loss of millions of money.
