Just days after a son of Safaricom security manager committed suicide in their house in Lavington, police are yet investigating another an incident in which a16-years-old form two student at JG Kiereni Secondary School in Kiambu county committed suicide in a hotel in Kamukunji area Nairobi.
The boys' grandfather told the police that he used a rope to hang himself at the balcony of the hotel which is believed to be owned by his grandfather John Njenga Wangige.The Nairobi police boss Japheth Koome said the police were called at the scene on Thursday at around 5pm and found the body hanging on a rope at the balcony."Police visited the scene and moved the body to the mortuary. There was no suicide note found there," said Koome.Koome said they are investigating the incident to establish whether it was a suicide or murder.
