(Photo/Cyprian Muthoka)Second half strikes from Harrison Mavuvya and John Kilonzo helped Tala Celtic claim a 2-0 win over Tutu stars in a Kangundo football league match played at Tala Central grounds.After settling for a barren draw in the first half, Celtic improved their striking efforts on the second half with Harrison scoring the first goal in the 69th minute.Six minutes later, Celtic doubled their lead as John Kilonzo received a wonderful pass from Mark kiilu.The win has lifted Celtic Fc to the first position in the Tala league standings with 9 points after three games now.Tutu dropped to the fifth position on the log table this been their first loss of the season in the league.Celtic has now shifted its attention to next round match against Katine Young Stars, a match that will be played this Saturday in Kangundo.This season, eight teams are taking part in the league after the inclusion of Yulu Fc in the competition last December.Each team will play a total of 14 matches with home and away fixtures before the end of the top tier season.
