A student who sustained injuries from the Moi Girl's High School fire tragedy has died.
The death toll now hits ten from the September 2 arson.
According to National Disaster Management Unit communications director, Paul Masai, the student died at 5 am.
Masai did not disclose the name of the deceased but confirmed that the parents were informed and had identified the body.
"NDMU sends condolences to family and friends. The bereaved family is planning the funeral...the burial date will be announced," he said on a statement.
He further called on well-wishers to make contributions through the mobile number 0721 384451.
"We sincerely thank all those who have contributed in any form, in support for those in need of help."
Seven girls died at the school after while two succumbed while being treated. Ten others were hospitalized.
