Bishop Jackson Maina of Victory Community Church said Raila is an agent of high-handedness among the Kenyan youth who are his greatest supporters in the anti-IEBC protests.

“As a leader, you should lead the people in upholding the rule of law but in the case of the Opposition, Raila and his team are agents of corrupting the minds of our youths and showing them how they should not obey the law. Even the Bible has put it clearly that every leader should be submissive to the law that is governing the land but Raila has conspicuously missed out on this calling by God,” he said on Sunday in Nakuru.

He noted that the forceful push to remove the IEBC commissioners from office is flouting the law which Raila and his team are subjects to and as such, should obey.

“We cannot remove IEBC commissioners from office because that is not the law. We have stipulated guidelines on their removal and it is time they follow the law and also do the will of God.”

Cord has remained adamant on ceasing the anti-IEBC protests saying they will continue with their resolve to hurl out the current commissioners and have likened them to football referees who are biased.
