There was chaos in Embu after a planned anti-IEBC protests by the opposition turned violent.

The protests by NASA supporters turned violent after Jubilee supporters attacked the protesters.Chaos started when Kirimari Ward MCA, Morris Nyaga, and his counterpart for Ruguru Ngandori Ward, Sammy Muturi, intercepted the demonstrators and urged them to disperse.

Boda boda operators later joined in and disrupted the demonstration.

 NASA, however, did not back down.

The protests called by NASA leaders were carried out across the country.

However, in Siaya county, the protests turned tragic after a man choked on teargas.
