ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi and his Ford Kenya counterpart Moses Wetangula took their anti-Raila Odinga campaigns to various parts of Vihiga county.
The two criticised Odinga, accusing him of abandoning them following his meeting with President Uhuru Kenyatta, that has caused a rift in the NASA coalition.
They lamented that Odinga used and dumped them, and that it was time to think twice about their support for Odinga, who now supports Uhuru's Jubilee administration.
Accompanied by a host of ANC and Ford Kenya leaders, the duo made roadside rallies at Majengo, Mbale and Chavakali in Vihiga County, an area believed to be Mudavadi's political stronghold.
Amusingly, only a handful of supporters showed up to listen to the two.Contrary to the past political rallies involving all the four NASA coalition principals - Odinga (ODM), Mudavadi, Wetangula and Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper), few residents turned up for the roadside stopovers in various areas.
This was also noticed by curious Kenyans and followers of the Kenyan politics.
"But where are the people? I thought this is about the people!" wondered Muga Aganga, after seeing photos from the rallies.
"I was amused at Chavakali as l headed to Kisumu only to find two presidential candidates with a crowd of about 200 that must be a big joke," said David Meja.
