Kisumu governor Prof Anyang' Nyong'o and former Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Miguna Miguna have launched scathing attack on former US Secretary of State John Kerry for giving the Independent Electoral and Boundaries (IEBC) a clean bill of health in conducting the August 8 polls.Kerry was among international observes who said the elections were conducted in a free, fair and transparent manner. This is despite the opposition leader Raila Odinga alleging that the IEBC systems were hacked so as to rig in President Uhuru Kenyatta. The Supreme Court of Kenya however proved Kerry and his team wrong by nullifying Uhuru's win saying he was not validly elected due to irregularities and illegalities in the election process.Speaking in Kisumu, Saturday, during a church function, Nyong'o said Kerry's report on the August 8 polls was biased.“Kenyans have proven that they are wiser than some of the observers who were biased in decision making, only trying to serve their own egocentric interests,” Nyong'o said.Miguna who was defeated by Mike Sonko noted that the observers were overrated."International observers are overrated. They were 500. They soaked the sun and ratified an egregious daylight robbery," Miguna twitted, Friday.
