Kisumu Senator Anyang' Nyong'o has rubbished claims that Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho forged his Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education( KCSE) results to enable him vie for governor in 2013.Speaking on Monday, Nyon’go said the allegations by the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) are not only baseless but also malicious. The Senator said the recent accusations by the State are a plot bring Joho down politically ahead of thw August polls. Nyon’go questioned why the examination body has been quiet for the last two terms the governor has been in the field of politics."Joho has been in politics for two terms. If indeed this exercise was serious they should have gotten him then. The CID and KNEC should come clear on this unless there are some political woes to be settled,” said Nyong’o, as quoted by the Standard. Joho has been at loggerheads with President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto in the recent past.According to the county boss, his differences with the Jubilee administration begun when he questioned why Waitiki squatters had to pay for heir title deeds.
