AON Kenya, an insurance company has launched its branches in Kisumu to maximise on clients and deliver services.
Speaking during the launch on Saturday, AON Kenya Chief operating officer Sammy Muthui said that the Kisumu branch will empower businesses in Kisumu County and the county government in achieving their socio-economic development plans.
The company boasts of being the leading global provider of risk management, insurance brokerage and human capital resources solutions and out sourcing services.
"Our relationship with Manchester United serves as an example of how AON is helping leading companies tackle the most important issues in Risk and people today," said Muthui.
He said they will add to the other 66,000 branches in more than 120 countries globally that remain dedicated to offering solutions to people.
Muthui added,” From helping clients gain access to capital after a calamity to creating access to health care and retirement for millions, our goal is to ensure that our clients and their employees reach their full potential."
He said they plan to do this through providing risk management and insurance protection solutions to ensure growth, business continuity and profitability for the people and businesses of the county in many areas.
Some of the areas seeking to benefit from this are health and agriculture where the insurance company seeks to help sugar cane farmers and factories and modernising dairy and fish farming.
Muthui said that through their expanded branch network, they believe that they can make a difference in the lives of the community around them.
Another sector set to benefit is building and construction by the county government or the national government when it comes to roads, Universities, hotels and hospitals.
The company is set to explore growth of Kisumu’s small micro-enterprises, SACCOs, Non-Governmental Organisations and personal insurance for the growing Kisumu middle class.
