Ruiru Sub County AP Commander Hesbon Lusweti has warned criminals in the area saying their days are numbered.
Briefing journalists at his office on Sunday, the AP commander said that police will not tolerate criminals.
He said that they have put in place appropriate measures meant to curb runaway crime in the sub county.
“We are going to deal with criminal gangs that think they can continue to cause havoc,” he said.
Lusweti noted that the officers are prepared and well committed to fight criminals.
He however appealed to the public to provide support in terms of leads that will help nab the criminals.
The AP commander intimated that the public are important in the fight against crime.
He added that the police will not victimise or intimidate anyone that shares information with them on the whereabouts of criminals.
Lusweti at the same time cautioned youths against falling prey to criminal gangs and groups.
He observed that many youths are being lured into crime saying that they too will be dealt with accordingly.
