An Administration police car. [Photo/The Star]An administration police officer has fled after killing his two colleagues and injuring one in Baringo South, county administration police boss Robinson Ndiwa has confirmed.
Ndiwa said the circumstances leading to the incident are still unknown but the injured officer has already been taken to a Nakuru hospital.
However, tension in the area is still high with fears that the runaway officer could resurface to hurt more people.
“We have deployed more officers to beef up security and search for the armed officer, who is suspected to be holed up in the bushes,” said Ndiwa.The killings came barely two weeks after a General Service Unit officer and a reservist on patrol were shot and seriously injured by suspected bandits.
