Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has sent an appealing call to his friends and foes in what looks like a turn-around.
He reached out to all those he brushed shoulders with in the year and asked that he be forgiven.
"All those I wronged this year may you forgive me,all those who wronged me I have forgiven you in Jesus name," he said.
He reflected on the 'disappointing' year that passed but said he remained full of hope for the coming year.
"2017 has had its fair share of disappointments but I thank God for where I am today. I would like to thank my wife and children for being there for me. I also can't forget to acknowledge the efforts of Team Babu and my Embakasi Constituents for believing in my leadership," he added.
The Embakasi leader has not had the best of times in the past year.
His radical stand on political matters saw him engage in a fist fight with Starehe MP Charles Njagua in the precincts of Parliament.
He has also been quoted calling President Uhuru Kenyatta 'Son to a Dog' and DP William Ruto 'a thief'.
