Kitutu Chache South MP Richard Onyonka has been called upon to apologise to the Gusii community for calling them ‘stupid’ during his past interview with a local Radio station.
According to Kitutu Chache North Parliamentary aspirant, Paul Asuma his utterances are likely to divide the community into clannism and there was a need to ensure he realises his mistake and apologise.
“We are going to rally elders from the community to summon him if he is not going to apologise for his words last evening as everybody has his own political stand,” he added.
Asuma said that it was a big mistake for the MP to call those who don’t support his ideologies “Wajinga’ for everyone has his own choice of leadership.
Onyonka was abusing those opposed to Omogusii unity movement by calling them ‘wapumbavu na ni wajinga’ on Radio Citizen during the interview on Tuesday night.
