A section of Kisii county members of county assembly has appealed to Kitutu Masaba member of parliament Timothy Bosire and Dagoreti North MP Simba Arati to apologise to the community for what they did during the state of the nation address in Parliament on Thursday.
According to them, it was so shameful for the Mps to disrespect the law when other house members were standing in honor of the soldiers who died in Somalia.
Led By George Bibao, TNA chairman Kisii county and Francis Aburi from Ichuni ward they said that the Mps needs to apologise to the community and to Kenyans at large.
“What our Legislators did on Thursday was disrespectful, we need Timothy Bosire and Simba Arati to apologise to the community and to all Kenyans for what they did,” said Aburi.
Monyenye Alfred, an MCA from Kisii Central ward also said that the members should respect leaders who are in power until their term ends.
“When leaders from our community decide to do such nonsense as the community we feel guilty since they are spoiling our name, we want them to apologise,” Monyenye said.
Samwuel Apoko an MCA from Kiogoro ward who was elected via an ODM ticket echoed his counter part by accusing the Mps who were elected through the party for their misconduct in parliament.
“Am an ODM member but what my party members did in parliament was wrong," said Apoko.
"We need to know that we will not have two presidents at a time so we need to respect the one who is ruling now,” added Apoko.
