The commissioner who was speaking on Wednesday said the number of drug addicts in the county is increasing each day.
Kigochi said the drug barons are everywhere and have been carrying on illegal activities with impunity which must be stopped.
“Let us save the youths before drugs destroy them. Police with the help of local administrators should apprehend drug dealers and illicit brew sellers to ensure our youths are safe,” he said.
He warned that local administrators who are not doing their job will be sacked and replaced immediately.
“We have realised some chiefs are not working to end the menace but I wish to assure the administrators that anyone found not doing his work properly will be sent home for those ready to work to be brought on board to help the government end drug trafficking and illegal alcohol selling in the County,” he added.
