Nakuru West Member of Parliament Samuel Arama wants county government to improve the state of roads in the constituency.
Speaking to news reporters this morning, Arama says most road networks in the area are in poor state.
The MP notes that improving roads will open development opportunities from both local and foreign investors.
“The county government should quickly improve roads so that people can conduct their activities comfortably,” he said.
Arama noted that most roads are rendered impassable during heavy rains inconveniencing businessmen.
The MP on the same note asked the county to fast-track installation of street lights in the area.
He said that most of the street lights installed are not working as some have been vandalized.
Arama observed that installing street lights will give residents opportunity to conduct their businesses on 24 hour basis.
The legislator pledged to initiate projects that will directly promote the living standards of the people.
He challenged area MCAs to provide support and help propel development in the constituency.
