Nakuru West legislator Samuel Arama has drummed up support for Jubilee government in the coming general elections.
Speaking on Wednesday, Arama who was voted in on an ODM ticket urged residents of his constituency to support President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy saying that their deeds have earned them a longer stay in power.
"Despite being an ODM tuff we have realized development in this area and we owe it to Jubilee. They deserve a second term in office," Arama said.
He faulted ODM of being hypocritical in its management saying that the party does not uphold democracy.
"In the previous general elections I won the nominations but my name was not forwarded as the nominee. I had to seek legal assistance to retain party ticket. That is the democracy they preach," Arama added.
The legislator urged the government to stick to the constitution in the formation of a new electoral body.
"Let the government tell Kenyans best qualified with no political affiliations apply for the posts. They should not be political nominees," He said.
