Speaking to the press at Nakuru town on Sunday, Arama said that he will defend his seat through another political party noting that his current party lacks leadership and focus.

The MP who was elected on the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party says that his relationship with party leaders has been worse.

Arama said that it will be normal for him to change parties noting that all political leaders have been using different parties to seek re-election.

“There is nothing abnormal with me seeking to vie on a different political party,” he told journalists.

The MP said that as a politician, he has a right to decide on which party suits his agenda.

At the same time, the Nakuru MP vowed to continue working with the Jubilee government. He said that Nakuru West residents have benefited from various development projects courtesy of his good working relations with the Jubilee administration.
