An MP has said Kenya is about to make history in the world as the first country to have two presidents.
Simba Arati (Dagoretti North) said beginning January 30 Kenya will have two 'heads of State'- one being the president of the republic of Kenya and the other being the people's 'president'
President Uhuru Kenyatta was sworn in on November 28 following his successful re-election on October 26th's repeat election which the opposition NASA boycotted after claiming the poll will be rigged in Uhuru's favour.
But the opposition NASA insists Raila worn the August 8 presidential poll but was rigged out by the IEBC with instructions from State House.
As a result therefore, Raila and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka are expected to be 'inaugurated' at Nairobi's Uhuru Park on January 30 a development that may spark another round of confrontation between the opposition and the Jubilee administration.
"We see nothing by that can stop the swearing in of the people's president," Arati said as he met youth group in Kawangware's Stage 56 on Saturday.
"The plan is well laid, preparations are complete and the only thing remaining is to unveil our 'president'."
NASA has been conducting meeting in its strongholds bolstering support for the event already branded by the government as treason.
Last week NASA co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka gave Uhuru a one-week ultimatum to hold dialogue with the opposition over electoral reforms or "face a Somalia-like uprising".
NASA's will hold the last consultative meeting in Homa Bay ahead of the 'swearing in' set to be cinducted at Uhuru Park, a venue already closed for rehabilitation by the Nairobi county government.
