Dagoretti North Member of parliament has asked Kisii Deputy Governor to stop early campaigns and concentrate on delivering promises they made last year.
Speaking on Saturday at Nyakoiba Seventh Day Adventist Church in Bomachoge constituency he asked all political leaders in the area to ensure that they set aside their political differences.
"I am not interested in running for any political seat and I urge my brother Joash Maangi to stop panicking and focus on delivering key projects that they promised the locals with his boss Governor James Ongwae," said Mr Arati.
The lawmaker pleaded with other local leaders to give the County Governor James Ongwae as well as Joash Maangi who is his deputy maximum time and less politicking so that they can be able to deliver.
His sentiments come a few days after Mr Maangi asked the MP to stop imposing himself as the Gusii community spokesperson and equally forget about winning any political post in 2022.
