The Public Service Commission will on Thursday interview six candidates shortlisted to replace Kinisu as chairperson at the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).

Retired Anglican Archbishop Eliud Wabukala, former Agricultural Development Corporation managing director William Kipkemboi and retired member of defunct Commission for the Implementation of the Constitution Philemon Mwaisaka will be among those appearing before the panel.

Former inspector general of state corporations Peter Bita Ondieki, member of Commission of Revenue Allocation Rose Bosibori Osoro and Erastus Iguna Rweria will also be interviewed.

The venue of the interviews will be the Public Service Commission's (PSC) offices along Nairobi's Harambee Avenue.

The interviews will however be held behind closed doors.

The post became vacant following the resignation of Philip Kinisu in August after public pressure due to a Sh800 million from the National Youth Service.
