Former Ndhiwa MP Agostino Neto and his Kasipul Kabondo counterpart Silvance Osele are back on the ground in a move that could shape up the region's political scene in 2022.

If the recent meeting the two youthful politicians held in Homa Bay is anything to go by, then the duo's actions might have a bearing on ODM's grip of Nyanza politics.

Quoting former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, Neto said: " To each there comes in their lifetime a special moment when they are figuratively tapped on their shoulder and offered a chance to do a very special thing, unique to them and fitted to their talents. What a tragedy if that moment finds them unprepared or unqualified for which could have been their finest hour," the former lawmaker posted on his Facebook page.

Are they eyeing a bigger political seat during the next election. Though they have limited their political activities since August last year, their recent meeting suggest that something is cooking. Well, time will tell.
