Deputy President William Ruto is on the spot, a day after his inauguration alongside President Uhuru Kenyatta. This is after a section of KANU leaders in West Pokot county accused him of sidelining them during Tuesday's inauguration at Kasarani Stadium.Led by Nominated MCA Elijah Kaseuseu, they wondered why they were allegedly sidelined despite campaigning for Uhuru ahead of the August general election and the October fresh presidential election."We were surprised to see people who did not campaign for the President organising people going for the ceremony. Where were Jubilee senate aspirant Julius Murgor and former (West Pokot) Governor Simon Kachapin during campaigns?" said the MCA.Addressing the press on Wednesday, Kaseuseu accused Jubilee party leadership of using deputy county commissioners to pick people who would attend the historic event."We suspect Ruto is behind the scheme. Things are not going to be the same," he warned. Before the ceremony, North Rift Jubilee leaders led by Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago and his Nandi counterpart Stephen Sang ferried people to the venue with over 250 buses on Monday.
