Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet and acting Interior Security Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’I might land to ICC according to NASA leaders.
Led by outspoken Siaya Senator James Orengo, NASA politicians have promised to seek ICC intervention in the ongoing brutality against their supporters.
They are accusing the two for ordering the police to apply excess force when dealing with NASA supporters who want IEBC to adhere to their irreducible minimums.
According to Orengo, what is happening in NASA strongholds amount to crimes against humanity.
He said that they will take international legal action against Boinnet and Matiang’i.
“Kenya is a signatory to the Rome Statute. What is happening in the country in regards to ethnic profiling, especially the Luo community falls within the scope of genocide,” Orengo said as quoted by Kenyans.co.ke.
Orengo said that the two should not wait until the killings are too many to manage.
He also promised to look for alternative self-defense mechanism against the ruthless government.
