With a few days left ahead of the next general elections, the government has reshuffled police commanders of regions.
Trans Nzoia and Uasin Gishu counties have been the latest entrants to the list of regions which received new police bosses.
Already, the officers have since reported at their new centres.
Samson ole Kine has been posted to Kitale as the new Trans Nzoia County Commander.
He replaced Lilian Okembo who has since been promoted and transferred to police headquarters in Nairobi.
In Uasin Gishu, Augustine Ndumbi from General Service Unit (GSU) headquarters takes over as the new commander.
Ndumbi previously oversaw operations against banditry in Baringo county.
