Police in Mombasa are probing an incident in which four foreigners were robbed at gunpoint in Bamburi on Sunday.According to police, six armed men attacked the foreigners who were coming from a social gathering. The armed gang is said to have waylaid and robbed the foreigners after they arrived at their apartment in Bamburi. Confirming the incident, Mombasa county police commander Peterson Maelo said the four were robbed of all their valuables.The four were however not injured during the incident.“We understand that the four were just about to enter their apartments when six armed people accosted them. We have launched investigations into the incident,” said Maelo as quoted by Baraka FM.The attack comes barely a month after the bodies of a Swiss couple were discovered at a roadside in Kiembeni.
