This is over the looting of part of the Sh1.6 billion from the National Youth Service (NYS).

The Chama Cha Mashinani leader asked the government to put the two behind bars to be a lesson to other public officers engaging in graft which he said is about to bring the country down to its knees.

He further accused DP Ruto of protecting the two individuals from prosecution challenging him to let the two face the law if he is committed to fighting corruption.

"Murkomen and Kibet are supposed to be in jail by now for looting NYS funds. Waiguru said they received money from other suspects but DP Ruto has continued protecting them. If this government is serious on fighting corruption, let it start by putting this two in prison," said Ruto.

Emurua- Dikir MP Johanna Ng'eno said all those who have looted public funds should be tamed.

"Whoever stole public funds must not be allowed to go scot free and continue to enjoy the illegally acquired funds," said Ng'eno.
