Security agents and the county government of Kisii have been urged to investigate and arrest underage sex workers.
Geoffrey Mogire, a KNUT leader from Kisii, has hailed the county government and security agents for the operation they carried out last month of arresting prostitutes in the town and testing them for HIV/Aids.
Mogire said it was a good move since many youths who are underage have indulged into the illicit activity.
“I don’t see anything wrong when the government and the security agents are helping our young girls, I urge the locals and politicians to stop politicising the matter,” said Mogire.
He also urged the county government to investigate men and boys who participate in prostitution.
He was speaking to this writer on Tuesday in Kisii town.
