The Central Organisation of Trade Unions secretary general Francis Atwoli wants Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria arrested to explain more over what he knows about the death of IEBC ICT manager Chris Msando.
According to Atwoli, Kenya is at a crucial moment and what is needed now is peace and oneness, adding it was wrong for Kuria to behave the way he did.
“When someone terminates a person's life, it is not time for others to make it political or rejoice about it especially in this volatile situation. This is a very honourable member of Parliament who is seeking re-election; such a person should be behind bars to explain more on what he knows about his death,” said Atwoli.
“He should have been arrested like yesterday to tell the government about what he knows. Human life is very important, it doesn’t matter which tribe or community you come from, so you cannot mock or feel happy about somebody’s death,” added the Cotu boss.
Atwoli who spoke Tuesday during an interview on NTV said Kuria should have thought about his actions before making such profane comments.
On Monday, the MP was on the spot over a post on his Facebook account showing him pointing at the late Msando’s car in Nairobi's Roysambu. He
He has since pulled down the post which drew a lot of wrath from Kenyans over the foul comments he made.
