NASA Presidential candidate Raila Amolo Odinga has dared President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto to have him arrested over the alleged hate remarks he made in Kajiado.
Raila, former prime minister, said that he did not incite the residents of this part of the nation, adding that his remarks were taken out of context.
This is after Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery said that the government will take an action against the opposition, who is contesting for Presidency for the fourth time, is found guilty of the offense.
"Jubilee should not even dare to arrest me because they are putting the issue out of context. I never said in Kajiado that the residents should not sell land to some people," he said as quoted by Standard.
The cord leader also said that he was only asking the current government to enact laws directed at protecting land belonging to the community and not the other way round.
“What I said is that the Government should enact laws to protect community land. On the issue of Kajiado and Narok, it is only the Truth Justice and Reconciliation Commission (TJRC) report that can solve the matter,” he added.
