Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago has called on the police and other security agencies to arrest persons behind Kerio Valley and Marigat attacks in Baringo County.
Mandago said it was wise for the police to investigate and bring to book a few individuals behind the attacks instead of condemning a whole community.
The Jubilee allied governor was reacting to the killing of two politicians by two gunmen in Marigat, over the weekend.
Addressing the press after official lunch of the St George’s Catholic Church in Kapseret, Mandago said a few ill-minded individuals from a certain community should not be used to throw a blanket condemnation for the whole community.
“When a few people from Pokot or from the Tugen or any other community attack their neighboring tribe, it is important not to castigate the whole community which they come from,'' Mandago said.
