ODM deputy party leader Hassan Ali Joho insists Jubilee had a hand in chaos that erupted in Migori, Monday, during an ODM rally.
Things got out of hand when supporters of Migori governor Okoth Obado clashed with those of Suna East MP Junet Mohammed who had organised the meeting at Posta grounds to launch his re-election bid.
The violence left several people injured among them governor Joho’s bodyguard who was allegedly shot at, by a bodyguard attached to governor Obado.
However, the Mombasa governor said he was the target and that the gun was aimed at his seat and also his car perforated with two bullets.
“The aim is to scare us and confine us to our houses. But I am telling Jubilee that we will not be intimidated and we will venture out and campaign for our party,” said Joho.
Speaking at Mbaraki Sports club in Mombasa, Wednesday, Joho demanded the culprits be arrested.
