Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba now says that Arsenal Football Club head coach Arsene Wenger is after his signature after his 'superb' goal against Nairobi county assembly.
In a statement on his twitter account Friday,Murkomen alleges that the coach has since reached out to him in a bid to deploy him in his squad to boost the Barclays Premier League side goal hunting squad.
''I have received a call from Arsene Wenger that he was looking for a striker,'' reads the tweet.
The senate majority leader has however 'rejected' the opportunity to play for the British giant saying that he turned down the juicy proposal.
''I hate to turn down such great men but sorry,i am not available,'' he further says.
Murkomen scored the equalizing header after receiving an overhead pass from his Mombasa counterpart Mohammed Faki in extra time.
The match which ended 1-1 was however marred with cases of hooliganism forcing the for its premature conclusion after the MCA side accused the referee of allowing extra minutes to favor the senate side.
