Paulina Nekesa and her family are counting losses in Ainabtich village, Kapkures Nakuru after a group of people attacked her homestead and torched 6 houses Sunday evening.
According to her son Joseph Kipanga, attackers stormed their homestead and destroyed property before dozing houses with petrol and set them a ablaze.
The 2.1 acre piece of land in which their home stands also houses the area's borehole which according to them is the reason why they are facing hostility.
The land has been in a conflict since 2004 with a case at the Nakuru law court to have her evicted from the area.
Police officers from the Kaptembwo moved in to restore calm and are also investigating the case.
