In 2014 one afternoon, Biashara Street came to a standstill as renowned preacher Prophet Owuor pulled up his fleet of SUVs to shop.
Curious onlookers swarmed the street when word spread that he was around, causing a snarl-up.
In a video posted by the Nation Media Group, two glossy black vehicles with tinted windows, a Land Cruiser V8 and a Range Rover, guarded by a bodyguard are seen outside the shop the prophet had popped into to buy some stuff.
Then the prophet emerges from the shop and he is seen gesticulating even though it is not clear what he is saying.
He then prays for and with the onlookers who close their eyes and raise their hands in supplication.
They repeat a prayer after him.
After the prayer, the crowd surrounding him breaks into a rapturous applause.
The prophet then gives a short sermon, appealing to the crowd to avoid fake churches and seek the truth in true churches.
