Mombasa Women Representative aspirant Afiya Rama has accused Wiper Secretary General Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar of being a divisive figure in the party.
Speaking in Mombasa on Tuesday, Afiya who is eyeing the Wiper party ticket to run for the seat claimed that the recent open rebellion in the Kalonzo Musyoka-led outfit is a culmination of Omar's bad leadership.
Afiya who was responding to Omar's claim that she is being used by ODM to rock the Wiper unity denied the allegation saying she is firmly in the party.
Afiya said Omar is to blame for the recent defections of Nyali MP Hezron Awiti and his Jomvu counterpart Badi Twalib.
While warning of the far-reaching consequences of the Senator's alleged dictatorial tendencies in the Wiper camp, Afiya said the party risks losing key members to other parties.
She appealed to Omar to accommodate other peoples' opinions on how the NASA affiliate party should be run.
