Moses Nandalwe accused such individuals of sabotaging Mudavadi's bid, terming them as Jubilee moles.

This follows claims of some Cord lawmakers who accused Mudavadi of working with Jubilee, after he proposed to be Cord's 2017 presidential flag-bearer.

Nandalwe affirmed that Mudavadi was not looking to replace anyone in Cord but rather only wants a winning formula in 2017 general election.

“The entry of Mudavadi should be celebrated, not criticized by those afraid of being displaced," said Nandalwe.

“The task at hand is uniting the opposition with the aim of defeating Jubilee, not creating suspicion among Cord co-principals,” he added.

Cord has been in talks with Kanu chairman Gideon Moi, Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto, Narc party leader Charity Ngilu and Mudavadi to form a super alliance that will unseat president Uhuru Kenyatta in 2017.
