The aspirant, who spoke on Sunday during an anti-jiggers drive, said that residents of this part of the nation have continued to languish in abject poverty yet they have many resources within their reach.
Mkombozi, as he is popularly known by the residents, has promised to prioritize education sector by ensuring equity when it comes to the distribution of CDF cash equitably across the four wards.
He also said that he will ensure that the local residents get clean water. Wanjala also asked the voters not to elect leaders with the aim of dividing them after the polls.
Mutua has been ranked among the best performing governors in the nation. He has initiated various projects in the county, which has made him more popular.
The governor is considered among those who are likely to retain their seat in the forthcoming general polls. He is set to lock horns with Former MP Wavinya Ndeti, who will be contesting on Wiper if she is handed nomination certificate.
