Ouda said he is aware of two aspirants who are moving voters in large numbers from other areas adding that the move is illegal.

Ouda said he will report the matter to IEBC and even the police to expose the aspirants adding that the ferrying of voters is an election offense according to IEBC.

Ouda said the aspirants are taking the IEBC forms to villages in other sub-counties and are registering prospective voters.

“I have crucial information on some of the aspirants who re ferrying voters. Ferrying voters will lead to voter apathy in the coming polls,” he said.

He said the regional IEBC coordinator must look into that and stop the process adding that it may affect the votes of Cord leader Raila Odinga.

Speaking to the press on Wednesday when inspecting ID and voter registration at the Huduma centre, Ouda said the remaining two weeks are crucial for registration adding that people should not relent.

Ouda, who is the MCA of Central Gem ward in Siaya County, said all those who still do not have IDs should come out and get the crucial documents then register as voters.

“The duration is limited and our people must use this remaining time to register in droves, we need the numbers,” he said.
