Speaking in Maweni after donating four lorries of marbles, Adalla said residents usually find it difficult to access the Maweni dispensary whenever it rains.

Abdalla said he is the right candidate to replace the incumbent, Hezron Awiti, who has declared interest in the Mombasa gubernatorial seat in the next general election.

He promised to address different issues facing residents such as unemployment, lack of women empowerment, floods, security, corruption among other issues.

Abdalla is set to battle it out with investigative journalist Mohammed Ali, popularly known as Moha Jicho Pevu.
