The county assembly of Nakuru has unanimously approved the nomination of two persons to serve as Chief Officers in the Lee Kinyanjui administration.

The assembly members voted to approve the reports by the budget and appropriations and the finance committees which recommended for the approval of the two.

Joseph Muchina Gitau has been approved to serve as the new Chief Officer for Finance while Keneddy Ombati Momanyi has been approved to serve as the Chief Officer for Economic Planning and Development.

The two nominees will now have to await the official appointment by the governor before assuming office.
