Uasin Gishu County Assembly will on Tuesday resume sittings after breaking for short recess.
Members of the county assembly voted to adjourn sittings for ten days so as to allow them campaign for President Uhuru Kenyatta's reelection in the repeat poll.
The assembly is dominated by Jubilee MCAs with only one of the 30 elected were from the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM).Jubilee party was also allocated all the 17 slots for nominated MCAs.
The Assembly is resuming its settings even as the committee of appointment begins vetting County Executive Committee members (CeC) nominees presented by governor Jackson Mandago.
Report on the vetting exercise is expected to be tabled in the assembly as early as this Thursday.
