Advocate of the High Court Charles Kanjama has reiterated that Kenyans suffer from two major problems in the society.

According to Kanjama, Kenyans suffer from confirmation bias and psychological projection that has clouded their judgment on various issues of importance.

In his view, both Jubilee and NASA supporters believe that their ideologies are the correct ones and quickly reject any opposing idea to theirs even if presented with evidence. Kanjama further noted that Kenyans have a tendency of assuming that everyone holds the same thinking as theirs.

"Kenyans suffer from two major problems, confirmation bias and psychological projection. They believe that everyone holds the same thinking as theirs and that is why both Jubilee and NASA supporters reject any dissenting opinion even if provided with evidence," said Kanjama.

The advocate made the remarks on Wednesday on NTV's Sidebar show where he called on Kenyans to do away with 6 piece voting system.

He urged Kenyans to shift presidential votes from one candidate to another to utilize the different ideologies propagated by the politicians.

"Kenyans should stop the six piece voting system in every election they participate in. In fact, they should shift their presidential votes from one candidate to another and utilize the different ideologies of these politicians," added Kanjama.
